"Shotaro Nishimura is richly endowed by nature.He is a brilliant virtuoso,an emotional and subtle musician."
Born in Akita[Japan] in 1992,Shotaro Nishimura began to study the piano at age of 7.
He graduated at Omiya Koryo high school and Tokyo University of the Arts.He has studied with Prof.Takako Ogusu,Emi Takemoto,Koki Shimuzu,Nobuhito Nakai,Miwako Takeda and Katsumi Ueda.Also he has took lessons of renowned pianist such as Eva Poblocka,Andrey Pisarev and Micher Beroff.After graduation of the University,he moved to Italy to study.Now he's enrolled in Imola Piano Academy and studies with Prof.Leonid Margarius.
 
He has performed concerts series and music festival held in Tokyo,Sapporo,Saitama,Osaka,Paris,Vienna,Ischia(Italy),Milan,Deia(Mallorca) and others.
Such as,the series of "Ueno de Classic" at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan(Tokyo,Japan),"Orchestra project"at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall(Tokyo,Japan),Piano Recital at the Ehrbarsaal(Vienna,Austria) and the Deia International Music Festival(Mallorca,Spain).

 

Also He has performed with important orchestra and conducters,such as the Tokyo University of the Arts Orchestra,the Morocco Philharmonic Orchestra,the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra,the Malaga Provincial Symphonic Orchestra,the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra,the Russian Chamber Philharmonic St.Petersburg,Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and Omiya Koryo high school Orchestra.Conducted by Ken Takaseki,Olivier Holt,Kazumasa Watanabe,Salvador Vázquez Sánchez,Takeshi Ooi,Juri Gilbo,Taijiro Iimori and Kei Tajiri.
